My car was serviced in a timely manner. Very pleased with that. However, the overall customer service could use some improvement. I’m not sure if the gentleman was having a rough day or it could be his overall personality. But he was not customer friendly. There wasn’t what I would consider a positive customer greeting - just walked from the back and asked how could he helped me. He didn’t really need to smile, but there was a coldness about him. He asked a few questions and took my keys. I answered accordingly- reverted to a stone face; matching his energy. Don’t waste a smile because he’s not interested. I would have to say the final straw which then turned his actions to just plain rudeness was when he came back with my keys, announced that my car was ready, and before I could even leave my seat he reaches over and just drops the keys over the small wooden bar. I took a deep breath as I saw and heard them hit the counter, walked up, paid for the service, and retrieved my card, which was not dropped on the counter BTW. There was no thank you for coming in from him and once again that energy was reciprocated as I grabbed my keys and simply walked out. My final thought was to not

The oil change and car checkup I received helped a lot with the struggles my car was going through! Trea was above and beyond amazing. He went over every aspect of my car and let me know what was wrong. My car is no longer knocking nor is it struggling to keep running properly. Trea was wonderful and really provided the best service as well as letting me know what all my car needed to have fixed! Thank you!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this Meineke Car Care Center that I feel others should be aware of. On Monday, May 4th, 2026, I took my 2021 Ford Explorer XLT in for service as I had several times before. I called and was told I could bring it by and they would “work it in.” He specifically said, “Can you leave it with me?” so I arranged to have an Uber pick me up and take me home. Within 15–20 minutes of me dropping the car off, they called to tell me it was the catalytic converter. That will be $2,150, “out the door.” He sounded unusually excited about telling me the amount. When I expressed concern, he explained that’s what they cost and added, “yeah, I’m sure it’s the catalytic converter…” This diagnosis is curious, as I had come in with a small rattle on a 2021 vehicle with barely 46k miles on it. No check engine light, no smoke…fairly new vehicle. They had it for 15 minutes and decided that the car needed a catalytic converter replacement. I told them not to touch it and had to hire another Uber (~$25) to bring me back to Meineke. I asked why they only needed 15 minutes (time I would have gladly waited in the shop for my car) but had asked me to leave it

Nate is great! I went in because I hadn’t used my air conditioning in my 2007 Honda Civic hybrid for about six years because I lived in Seattle and moving to North Carolina. I needed a place to get my air-conditioning recharged. They were extremely thorough and for 250 bucks. I now have air-conditioning in the hottest place on earth or at least it feels like the hottest place on earth. Nate seemed like a very upstanding and honest guy and I will go there again
